RAW REMEDY™ INITIATIVES

  • PURPOSE

    The Raw Remedy™ Kids Series is designed to educate and entertain kids and aims to encourage them to get engaged and involved in driving good health from a young age.

    WHAT IT IS?

    A health education program (kids books and an animation series).

    Your support will go towards building this health education program.

  • PURPOSE

    Raw Remedy™ Healing Health Dogs focus on helping people who have experienced an incident in the following 3 areas:

    A traumatic incident

    Grief (an unexpected loss)

    An injury (athletes & artists)

    Traumatic incident

    This service is for individuals who are dealing with a sudden traumatic experience. Suitable for those who were previously healthy individuals, healthy in mind, with no pre-existing mental health conditions prior to the incident.

    Our healing health dogs offer protection and loyalty. They provide comfort and calm in a situation where not much else can.

    Rebuilding trust
    We focus on individuals who were previously healthy individuals who have experienced a traumatic experience from a person in power, authority figure, someone who was known to them or a healthcare practitioner. Trust in humans is impacted greatly in these situations. To restore trust and safety we believe dogs are the answer.

    We believe the purity of intentions and love a dog provides may be the only thing that helps these individuals in these specific circumstances.

    They deserve a chance to restore their health and their lives to the state prior to the traumatic incident.

    Existing research supports our belief that dogs can help individuals restore their trust and safety after a traumatic incident, even more effectively than humans. Particularly, when a human was responsible for causing the traumatic incident.

    When the unthinkable happens, these individuals are in shock, often left with nowhere they feel they can go and families are not often in a position to help in a way a dog can.

    Grief

    In times when you’re experiencing grief from an unexpected loss of loved ones, our dogs aim to lift your spirits. Dogs have a unique ability to make you smile, laugh and warm your heart, even at a time you wouldn’t think it is possible.

    Injury

    An injury can prevent you from doing what you love and what brings you joy. This service is for those who are dealing with an injury or health condition that is preventing you from doing something in the sports or arts field (which we encourage for optimal health).

    WHAT IT IS?

    Depending on your individual circumstance and what is suitable and needed, weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly visits to keep you on track on your road to recovery.

    HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT

    If you wish to support this Raw Remedy™ initiative, purchase a craftsman apron or travel tote bag, and select the Raw Remedy™ Healing Health Dogs initiative. The funds from the profits will go towards special training for the Golden Retriever and Labrador dogs.

    With the help of your support, this service will come at no cost to the individuals impacted.

MONTHLY NON-PROFIT GIVEBACK

We’re also supporting existing non-profit organizations in the arts and sports field with our monthly giveback.   • PURPOSE

    Kids own publishing is a non profit organization in Melbourne, Australia that aims to “change the world one book at a time”. They work with artists to publish books for kids, created by kids.

    WHAT IT IS?

    A publisher who co-creates books with under-represented children across Australia.

  • PURPOSE

    Blind Sports Australia (BSA) is a national sporting organization for blind and vision impaired sport. They help create pathways and opportunities for blind sports participation from grassroots community level, right up to elite competition at national and international level.

    Blind Sports Australia is a not-for-profit organization, a founding member of Paralympics Australia and the Australian Sporting Alliance for People with a Disability and is Australia’s representative to the International Blind Sports Federation.

HOW IT WORKS

  • Select an item from our Raw Remedy Collection which has been designed and developed to help build and fund our future initiatives.

  • Once you’ve selected the item, you will be asked where you would like your support to go towards. Simply select which initiative you’re most passionate about supporting. If you would like us to give to each initiative, you can do this also.

    50% of all profits will go towards the initiative of your choice.

  • These initiatives will take time to build. We will give you a unique code to track when the funds from the item you have selected to support are used for the initiative.
